The Coptic American Law Enforcement Organization, held its Annual Awards Dinner ceremony on Friday January .24, 2025 at the Hilton Garden Inn
The event was well attended by members of the NYPD and the community and guests of honor. Among the honorees was ret. NYPD Executive Director of Forensic Investigations and 2nd Vice President, Nabil Hanna, Police Officer Andrew Youssef, NYPD Mounted Unit and police Officer Michael Zaki, NYPd Patrol Borough Brooklyn South.
In attendance was Consul Amr Koraiem on behalf of Consul General of Egypt to NY, NYPD Deputy Commissioner Employee Relations, Lisa D. White, NYPD Assistant Commissioner, Kenneth Morgan, Captain Luigi Carruba, Commanding Officer 122 Precinct, Father Luke Awad, Reverend Dr. Father Mina Shaheid, and Arch Deacon Boles Malak, NYPD Chaplains Monsignor Robert Romano, Fr. George Anastasiou and Imam Tahir Kukaj, NYPD Line of Duty Families, NYPD Fatetnal organizations representatives, community organizations and community partners.
Lieutenant Mariana Zakhary, Founder and President gave a word highlighting the progress of the Organization and distributed the awards alongside her Board of Directors, 1st Vice President Michael Said, Second Vice President Nabil Hanna, Secretary Viviane Perrone and Treasurer Sameh Eskaroas.
