Specialty Food Association (SFA) is shacking the NYC summer today 30th July, in Javits Center, with its “Fancy Food” (FF) exhibition.
The floor plans along with the general decoration of the whole exhibition are new and attractive. SFA succeeded in attracting more than 5000 companies in the field of food industry, from various countries all over the world.
One of exciting products found in FF was the “Elowaainate Oasis Co.” that produces “Fancy Peanuts”! Mr. Mohamed Radwan, vice president said that they are using the best method in agriculture including what is so called “virgin land” style in planting such “first class Peanuts”. Mr. Radwan added that they use all organic system in producing such Peanuts. Mr. Amr Kenlani, Head of Foreign Relations and CEO of the Company, explained that they produce such organic peanuts in few flavors, salty and sweetly.
Another interesting company is also found in the Egyptian pavilion which included this time 30 companies in various branches in the food industry. “Egyptian Spanish co.” (ES) produces various luxury products for various US companies, from all Egyptian land and agriculture. Mr. Mohamed Lotfy added that ES produces special tasty traditional middle eastern products, grip-leaves, in various stages of cooking; starting from the raw ones, served in stylish cans with different package sizes.
Additionally, “Sakura Egypt Group” represents a story of success and persistence over more than a decade in the international market!
Mr. Mohamed Fahim, founder and executive manager, started off by narrating his very thrilling story about how he started this company while he was working as a Japanese tour guide in Cairo; where he met one of the Japanese business asking Fahim about the Egyptian herbs and how he could get controlled crops of various herbs that Egypt is famous for!
Mr. Fahim directly contacted some of his relative and friends in his village to provide his Japanese guest his wish! Sooner after few years Mr. Fahim becomes the main responsible about this Japanese company in Egypt. However, the ambition led Mr. Fahim to be a main partner in this company in Japan! Mr. Fahim now exports his high-end stylish organic products to various countries around the world, where he added a new line of organic vitamins made out of such nutritious Egyptian herbs!
Usually, one hears about various lectures teaching or preaching about happiness, pretty much like life coaches who advise to keep smiling for its healthy and social effects. However, let me say honestly that Sara Meyer, co-founder, with her husband Corey Meyer, of “little bird”, would win the best honest SMILE in this event! Sara, with her welcoming body language, not just selling or advertising her products, she also attracts happiness to all those around her, and her lovely assistant is a walking proof! Pretty much like Sara, her tasty untraditional confections are amazing and worth trying.
