On 01/12/24 the Coptic American Law Enforcement Org. held its annual Christmas celebration on Staten Island.
The event was well attended by members,
NYPD executives, Law Enforcement and Community based Organizations, as well as Egyptian community leaders.
Richard Barsamian, Director of Community Affairs for Assemblyman Alec Brook-Krasny Presented the Organization and its President/founder Lt. Mariana Zakhary with a citation from NY State Assembly in recognition of her service to the community and her leadership.

The Organization’s Founder and President, Lieutenant Mariana Zakhary
and Board of Directors, Vice president, Police Officer Michael Said, Secretary, Sergeant Viviane Perrone and Treasurer, Auxiliary Sergeant Sameh Eskaroas and the many Coptic-American members of the Organization take great pride in their Egyptian and Coptic identity and one of the core missions of the Organization is to promote Egyptian heritage and build bridges of communication between Egyptians and Law Enforcement and City agencies to facilitate communication, collaboration and understanding. The Organization also highlights the achievements and contributions of the Egyptian community and supports recruitment efforts of the NYPD and provides scholarships, youth programs, and community service.
